We are excited to announce the launch of our new media series on climate technologies in Asia, in collaboration with Earth VC Foundation:

If you’ve been following our work for some time, you’d know about our year-long project, AI + Climate Futures in Asia that explored the complex interaction of AI and climate action across nine Asian countries.

The research from Asia’s very unique and diverse context highlighted some significant gaps in the ecosystem and recommended:

• Opportunities to break disciplinary silos

• Collaborative approaches to new technologies

• Bottom-up problem diagnosis and solution building

For us, Code Green has been an imminent step building on these findings to further foster interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and surface voices from the ground. Through a podcast and newsletter series, we will showcase emerging climate AI research and provide a socio-technical perspective on the implications of adopting AI for climate action.

Basically, Code Green will separate the heat from the hype around climate tech.
